Contemporary dance is a progression from creative ballet. It is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet through fluid movement. Students will develop dance skills including turns, leaps, footwork, floor work, co ordination, balance, strength, musicality and flexibility.
There is also the chance to take Freestyle ISTD examinations in this class.
